What are the best hoodies to print on?

At BuyTshirtsOnline, we have a huge range of plain hoodie options and hoodies at wholesale prices, but which one should you choose? Choosing the best hoodies for printing depends on factors like fabric quality, material and price. Here are a few factors to consider before purchasing.

For custom screen printed hoodies, a polycotton fabric blend is the best choice, giving you a soft yet durable feel. We have a range of budget-friendly wholesale hoodies available if you're looking for the best price for bulk orders. For example, Gildan offers a 50/50 cotton-poly blend and offers an affordable fit. Alternatively, we also offer brands that offer a more premium feel if you're a luxury brand. Bella+Canvas offers a high-quality fit and finish to get your designs in front of your esteemed clients.

Is it better to embroider or print on hoodies?

If you're torn between custom hoodie printing or personalised embroidered hoodies, you need to consider your design, budget, purpose and overall aesthetic you want to achieve.

Custom embroidered hoodies: pros and cons

A custom embroidered hoodie design will last longer and is resistant to washing or fading. It will also provide a more premium look and texture. However, embroidered hoodies can be more expensive, especially for complex and larger designs and take longer to make. Any intricate details or gradients might be lost. Overall, they're best for embroidering logos or text for a professional look or small designs on the hoodie chest or sleeve. Choose embroidered hoodies for company logos, team hoodies or premium merchandise.

Screen printed hoodies: pros and cons

Hoodie printing is much more cost-effective, especially for larger or more intricate designs. Our screen printing service allows you to use full-colour, intricate patterns, gradients and photographic prints in your designs. The quick turnaround time always appeals to businesses, schools and charities. However, as good as our printed hoodies are, prints may crack, peel or fade over time and feel less premium than embroidery. As a result, choose custom printed hoodies for large or artistic designs with multiple colours or if you're looking to purchase or resell casual clothing or working to a tight schedule or budget.
